How to Parameterize object repository?

Parameterizing the value of a checkpoint property enables you to check how an application or Web site performs the same operation based on different data.

Select an item in a dialog box containing a Configure value area, such as the Object Repository or Checkpoint Properties dialog box, you can select Constant or Parameter to set the value.The default is Constant.

Constant—A value that is defined directly within the test or component and remains set for the duration of the test or component.

Parameter—A value that is defined or generated outside the test or component and is retrieved when the specific step runs.
