Script Tasks in SSIS

Scripting Tasks:

Used to execute custom Scripting in SSIS package. It has two types. 

• Active X Script
• Script Task

Active X Script:

Used to execute VB Scripts tasks in DTS/SSIS package. In 2005 we have only VB Script option to write the script. Where as SSIS 2008 we can write the script in VB Script as well as C#.

Script Task:

Used to execute  Dotnet Language scripts in SSIS package.
